|Average weight||up to 300 kg|
|Subspecies||Two unique lineages: Draco and Tigrar|
The Shokan are a race of four-armed warriors that live in the subterranean kingdom of Kuatan in Outworld.
Anatomy and appearanceEdit
The Shokan are large creatures that dwarf Humans in size, and boast incredible strength. They are distinguished by each possessing two pairs of massive arms ending in three digits on each hand. Their feet however have only two toes. Shokan females are slightly shorter than males, though still much taller than an average human.
The two known lineages of Shokan, the royal Draco line and the lower-class Tigrar line, differ in skin texture; while Draco Shokan possess human-like skin tones with occasionl green scaly areas such as on the back, Tigrar Shokan sport a tiger-like striped pattern on their skin.
Society and cultureEdit
Shokan civilization and society is structured under a monarchy with a king and queen ruling their people with their heir usually being a prince in line for the throne. Multiple heirs to the throne must compete with one another and demonstrate their ruthlessness by fighting to the death. The victor thus becomes the ruling crown-prince who will eventually inherit the throne. Furthermore, on a single particular day, it was customary to give the King a present.
Among the Shokan, there is one rule that surpasses all others: survival of the fittest and most ruthless.
Shokan live in individual lairs within the subterranean kingdom of Kuatan, located somewhere in Outworld. They also own and run the Cobalt Mines, a huge mining facility and prison in Outworld.
Relationship with other speciesEdit
Shokan are the mortal enemies of Centaurians and compete with them in order to serve as generals in Shao Kahn's army.
